The "test type" is also known as "Malmud" (sometimes spelled Malmot) - which is possibly a corruption of "Marmot", another word for "Guinea pig".
A prototype power-type Zoanoid that failed at processing. Only one known Test Type existed, which later stole the three G-Units from the Cronus Japan Branch.
The only test type ever seen appeared at the beginning of the animated series and is in fact the first Zoanoid that's ever seen. He was first seen trying to make a deal with an unknown acquaintance in order to be human again.
Desperately wanting to be with his family, he killed two officers and was stopped by a Chronos team.He changed into his gruesome battle form, but one of them transformed in turn - into a Gregole. They fought, but the test type lost.
As a last resort, he blew him self up with a stolen grenade, scattering the g-units. He might have felt some satisfaction in knowing that by this last act, he effectively created Chronos' deadliest enemy: the Guyver.
